WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

The last Friday of 2012. In the past I would be thinking about joining WW next week. My RNY has been such a blessing to me.

Yes, thank God for WLS.
I think I need to give up the popcorn as I think it makes me slightly gassy - not badly so, but I like to aim for zero emissions!!

I haven't had any trouble with popcorn and gas but it does help me go to the bathroom which use to be a struggle. I love cheese but my body wouldn't be able to handle all of the cheese you eat though.

I my DS
Keep going to the frig to find that my DH has finished off my fruit and veggies. Guess its good for him, but I'm not used to him raiding my food for lunch.

D: going out. Probably fried shrimp.
The only fruit my DH eats is bananas and he avoids veggies completely. He eats very unhealthy but he won't budge and I am tired of fighting with him.

Cold grey day here but I had a good meeting with a client and staff and then came home and put on all my snow stuff (no snow but it keeps me warm) and went out for a drive.

I'm trying to get caught up at work before the beginning of the new year. January is always so busy at work. I had a nice surprise at lunch today. DD and DGD#2 came to town and we went to lunch together. Then DH wanted to go out to supper - so I ate out twice today...

I love not having to think about joining WW also. I used to join almost every January and it usually lasted a month or two. I am looking into joining a gym or something. I need to get back to exercising.

I love surprises like that! It looks like you made good choices eating out. I always tell them to just bring me the meat and veggies and sometimes I have to take half of it home.
I joined WW so many times I think I tried every new plan they started. I did really good on the exchange program but I didn't make good choices on the points program.
