Does anyone remember what they wanted to change or do differently during this new year?  How's that working for you?  I still have good intentions but making very slow progress. {sigh}  My study is still as disaster area and the basement is too. I am ahead on paying the bills due by the end of the month...well, most of them. How about you guys?

Good Morning Major Mom. I thought I would check in since I have a minute. My New Year started with a bang! Negative things as well as positive things that are motivating me. I have learned that it is easier to limit my stress eating. I don't run for the candy, ice cream, chips, etc. I still eat it but 3 mini tootsie rolls or a half bag of single serving light pop corn works the same! LOL I'm also starting really slow with getting up a extra 30 minutes in the morning and working out for 15 minutes. I'm on my 3rd week of it and it is getting really tuff to keep doing it but I'm going to try to stick to it until it gets easier. I would also like to try another class in the evenings but work, kids, life, etc seem to slow that down. Taking small steps. LOL Take care and Happy New Year!

That's exactly why my ONLY New Years resolution was to make NO other resolution...I have an easy time keeping that one. Been doing it for over 20 years now. I always lapsed on others but that one has been successful every single year.

We finally have the opportunity to go back to the gym next week...they are not requiring contracts, it's just month to month and this one is also around in Hendersonville so once we move we can stay members.

Not exactly a resolution, but working out... Can I do 2 days exercise in a row is the question;!

Sadly Sean T caused my RSI to play which is a shame coz I liked it. Step tonight methinks.

Resolutions to eat less junk never last for me which is why I got the DS!

I LOVE Shaun T!  I can't wait to get back to him.  It's been a boring few months recovering from my hernia/bowel obstruction surgery in the fall.  I still have a bit of pain when I walk but I've been pushing through it and power walking lately.

Hopefully I'll be back with Shaun soon.  :)

Yes, I'm trying to figure out a way to be able to do Shaun T.  Maybe I can do something like star jumps instead of pushups.  I'd love to work my arms the Shaun T way, but the modified didn't work out.  Some Insanity has to be better than none.

The pushups are the hard part for me too.  I can't really do the moving pushups so just do them stationary.  And I do cheat and do girlie pushups sometimes when I just can't do another real one.  :)

I just got Tapout, it looks fun!

I wanted to add exercise.  Formal exercise is not happening yet, but hopefully after January, I can get started on it.  I am doing more walking and up and down at work during January so I am at least moving more.

Busy month, I really miss getting on here every day.  Thank goodness today is finally a short day and I will get to leave at 5:30 I hope.  We are finished with the local board meetings.  We do have one more meeting next Monday afternoon to firm up things for the play the 26th and 27th.

I think I'm caught up on the bill paying.

I have done something I never thought I would do.  I have a part in the actual play and won't be in the background and doing the setting up and cleaning up.  I am going to be a pregnant woman who gets mad at her husband and takes off to Florida.  Not many lines, but I cannot imagine getting up in front of 100+ people 4 or 5 years ago....  I just hope I can remember my lines.

I didn't even think about making any resolutions this year.  How nice.  Weight loss was always big on my list in the past.
