Linda,
How do you make your protein coffee? Unflavored protein or what?

Ellen,

I use Syntrax Nectar Cappuccino Protein.

I brew my coffee, add my splenda to the coffee.  In a measuring cup I put 1/2 cup of Hood Calorie Count Down Milk(or whatever type of milk you use or you could use water) add protein powder, mix thoroughly to get all the lumps out.  Then pour the milk/protein mixture into the coffee.

Don't put the protein powder directly in the hot coffee or it will clump up and make a big mess!!  You have to dissolve the protein in a cooler liquid first.

You can make it with any type of protein that you would like that flavor in your coffee.  I sometimes use the Sugar Free Davincii syrups in my plain decaf coffee.

Ellen - there are a few ways to make it.

I use regular chocolate protein - like Linda said - mix it beforehand with cooler liquid.  Brew your coffee and mix it in after.  You can use SF syrups to flavor it even more (or a vanilla powder, etc).  I used to make mine with chocolate protein and the SF peppermint paddy syrup - a mocha mint.  Now I make it with the chocolate protein, but mix it with my regular coffee creamer (I like the vanilla cinammon).

It all depends on your tastes.  The key is to remember is to MIX it before with a cooler liquid BEFORE mixing it with your hot coffee.  It will clump and be really really nasty if you don't.

Have fun experiementing!

Bummer about the snow... our weather's starting to turn nice (would be even better if it weren't for the wind as that makes it feel a lot cooler).  I hope you don't get too cold when cleaning your car.

The weather has warmed up a bit, so it's mostly puddles. It did, however, take me a bit of time to clean my car.

Have a great rest of the day.

Hi Gina,

Do you like the taste of Fage alone, or do you doctor it up to make it tolerable. I tried greek yogurt once and wasn't a fan. I'd like to try it again, maybe a flavored one like Chobani. The calories, protein, and carbs are good on them right?
