OH seems quite finicky the last couple of days again. The server seems to keep going down? So I am typing in a note first so I can copy/paste into OH and not lose it all hopefully.

Yesterday we spent the day at Anegada island. Pretty white sand beach which we all took a walk on after hanging around in the water before lunch. We ate dinner on the island at Sids, an open air restaurant where you order your food when you make your reservation.

I am getting a bit worried about what weight I might be putting on though we are eating pretty healthy and I'm keeping portions relatively small. I may wait to weigh until after I have been back home a few days eating like normal.

Have a winning Wednesday!

ETA: We were jus****ching someone trying to paddle a dinghy back from the island - the engine apparently wasn't working, but it wasn't making any progress because of the wind/current. We thought it was someone else's dinghy, but it was ours! Apparently it broke off last night and got swamped on the island. The boat next to ours sent their dinghy to tow ours back. So it was obviously pretty rough last night (we are bobbing around a lot this morning)! I wonder if that means we won't have a dinghy going forward? It was pretty full of water and the engine was submerged.

I usually use the stairs instead of an elevator if I possibly can: exercise snack!

Snow in March is a pretty frequent occurrence in Massachusetts - even in April sometimes.

I finished Huck Finn yesterday thank goodness. I've just started James and already like it much better.

We did have Prosecco in mimosas, though not caviar and champagne LOL. I would have loved some corned beef and cabbage, but none this year.

I love the idea of exercise snacks!

Greetings all

Sun is out big but more storms on the way.So be it. I feel a nap coming on. Scrabble this morning and I lost all three games. Just not my day. Character building I guess. I came straight home and made a tuna sandwich. There is a gallery meeting this evening and I hate being out but hope it will not last too long. Our treasurer for the last 12 years does not want to do it anymore and there is no one else who is really very good at that stuff. It's all on quickbooks which everyone says is annoying. And the vice president position will be open and the difficult person has already nominated herself. Should be amusing for those of us in the peanut gallery.

Liz I was wondering if that boat would rock you to sleep. I remember that from a cruise ship. Does this yacht have a rough ride ever> Like seasick rough?

So DD I had to look up James. Looks interesting. Read Huck Finn a million years ago. What a good concept for a book. I hope you get a snow day. Or two. I don't doubt that teaching is a serious energy drain. End in sight....

Paula you da beast now! Biggest loser workouts must be tough. I was reading a CNN newsletter today that said we should do "exercise snacks" which are bits of exercise from 60 seconds to 5 minutes. An extra flight of stairs, a few squats, walk up and down a hall and such. it said even these small bits show health improvement. My kind of exercise. GL with Bible study prep.

Not much else. I have some pre cooked shredded chicken. It may go in a skillet with Japanese bbq sauce. High end cuisine for this house. Diane S

I never thought about how the rocking of the boat could lull one to sleep. Coupled with the fresh air and exercise, it seems like it could be sleep coma time!

Paula hope you're not too sore, but yeah, having good muscle to work with will help with the plastic surgery.

Liz, I am not a fan of Huckleberry Finn, or Tom Sawyer for that matter. But I read James, and I couldn't put it down once I started. Reading Huck Finn beforehand to give more context to James is a great idea.

Another normal day, except my fatigue is off the charts again, and I'm not sure why. Maybe because I didn't use the weekend to catch up on sleep. There's another storm heading for the center of the country tonight. It could bring snow to our area. The students are, of course, hoping for a snowday. Seems unlikely, but I've been surprised before.

128.5, maintaining nicely!

Corned beef and cabbage was good last night. Tonight will be shrimp ****tail! Thanks Diane for putting the idea in my mind!

Already did the treadmill (20 minutes) and then a Biggest Loser boot camp DVD (lots of squats, lunges, arm weights and pushups with cardio mixed in). It's a tough one, will most likely be sore tomorrow! I want to build up muscle as much as possible before plastics to get the best contouring possible, still considering joining the local Y for that!

I will be leading woman's Bible study for at least the next 6 weeks which will require a bit more prep on my part, but it's all good! Character development class continues to be enlightening!

Liz, your trip looks fabulous! Looks like an episode of Lives of the Rich and Famous! Champagne and caviar! Grey Poupon anyone?

Another day in paradise - the sun is out and it is nice and warm. The 3 nights we have slept on the boat I have slept great. Must be the rocking, like being a baby again.

Yesterday the theme was green LOL. Great food including steak for dinner. DH was happy. We went to one bar in the afternoon but it was too fancy - apparently it lost its charm after it was rebuilt following Hurricane Irma. The owner of the bar we went to the day before kept the core of the bar as is and built around that trying to retain the character. Not so at the one yesterday. Today we may spend more time just doing water sports. Yesterday I did paddle board for about an hour though. Never got wet - just stepped on and off the board from the boat.

Have a terrific Tuesday!

To Kill a Mockingbird was such a great book (and movie). I am reading The Adventures of Huck Finn for book club and having a really hard time with the vernacular. James comes next.
