120.6, twinning with Liz today!

Rainy day with a cold front moving in and temps dropping throughout the day. Tomorrow will be chilly too but shouldn't affect me too much as I am getting that infected tooth extracted finally! Doubt I will be doing much after that!

Today has been busy so far. I had my phone in Bible study with my WI peeps, a contractor is here putting up framing around our master and guest bathroom mirrors and the termite guy came to give us an estimate. Still have not worked on my photo cards but did put together a 4 piece hanging frame set of 4X6 pics of flamingos. Feeling nappy but contractor guy is still working. He is also going to hang a metal grate storage shelf that hangs down from the garage ceiling today. His next project will be to hang kayak racks and racks to hang the beach chairs but we needed to order the racks online as Home Depot didn't have any in stock!

Not sure what to make for dinner. Feeling a bit unmotivated right now. Thought about grilling fish but it is too cold. I guess it will be left over red curry Thai soup or go out to eat! Saving the soup for tomorrow when I need to eat soft foods might be wise. Hmmmm, where should DH take me out to tonight?

I agree. There are a lot of fixtures out there, but it's a big space and it's like drops in the ocean with no delineation of the edges of the hardscape and nothing lighting the pergola area that has 4 lounge chairs.

I also noticed the spa light is burnt out (Paula jinxed me!) so need to have that fixed as the pool lights on should help keep people from falling in there.

Apparently I've entered another productive phase! I should plot it against the star charts to find a pattern . I washed both of my cars yesterday myself. Including vacuuming dog hair out. They look really nice. I was going to go to the car wash, but when I drove by, there were several already waiting and this car wash is not like the ones in CA where you get a spotless car in 15 minutes for $30. This is 4 hours for the same level of clean for $70. So I went home and did it myself. Then I ran the window cleaner on a few more sliders with dog snot. It does a nice job with that. I ran out of oomph to put the box together, but I will do that next.

Josue the tile guy is coming today to give me a quote to seal the flagstone patios. It really needs to happen every year, but I didn't do it last year. I also need him to put some spongy filler in a gap that was exposed when the cat patio screen was replaced. It no longer has a bottom track and that was covering the crack.

I also pondered outdoor lighting last night. I agreed to have one of the plein air painting festival events at my house in October (eek). Which runs until after dark, which makes me think about how dark it is in my backyard and I don't need people tripping back there...

Kirby needs a walk today. So I'll do that and work on the box and whatever else unfolds...
