Thanks for your wishes; I hope everything go well for you. Patience is the key of success and in this case, it is the key for this surgery. I had my surgery on Sept. 20th and I have lost only 25 lbs, but at least I am in the loosing side now. Keep praying and everything will go well with you. Have a wonderful day and life, and keep dreaming about fitting in places where we don't fit now, I dream too but I know this is a dream that will come true.

Hey Kelly Jo! I'm so glad that you've reached the open enrollment period. Your new life is so close you can taste it. I'm sure you'll do well because you've exhibited such committment already. I'm also sorry to hear about your mobility issues, but please, please, please don't beat yourself up. The world already sees fat people with such negative lenses, and most of the time it's just plain ignorance. Although we know that the amount a person eats and the amount a person burns will determine how much they weigh, we still don't know why some people burn a lot more than others. So, don't beat yourself up for your weight. The truth is that it really may be beyond your control! Just try to love yourself as much as you can, and be joyful that you may get to enjoy a more active you soon. Ranessa
