Hi AMOS, I am less than 5 days from surgery.. I feel a total peace at the moment.. I hope that I dont get a bad case of nerves over the weekend.. Sunday will be my last day online until after my surgery as I will be in Atlanta on Monday for PAT and preop appt with Dr. Waits.. Take care.. Thanks for all the emails and encouragement.. Dear Gina: Well the count down has begun. I know you are as thrilled as I am. I have my pre-admission on Dec. 14. I hope to be able to visit you in the hospital, if you think that is OK. Hi Gina...just wanted to let you know that we are surgery buddies!! I'm having my open RNY at Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia, on December 12. I'm pretty nervous but looking forward to getting to "the other side." Also, I visited a post-op patient in the hospital on Friday, she had her surgery last Tuesday, (11/28) and was really doing great. Good luck, and may God bless us as we take this journey to better health.
