Finally, I had the info session today. It was very informative and I got to meet DVR and Dr. Moeinolnomolki. I really liked the both of them and enjoyed talking to each of them. DVR took his time answering to everyone who had questions for him. He has a warm smile that make me feel safe. I am so glad I got to meet them.
There was a bariatric post op patient name Frank I forgot his last name and he has lost 120 pounds in 11 months. He looked great and was full of information. I also met a lady that had her surgery 19 months prior and she had lost half of her she showed me a picture and I was in awe. She was there bringing a friend to the info session.
I met a young lady name Melody Lovely she is looking to have the surgery too and she says she is a member here on OH. I was happy to meet someone from the forum.
I gave in my paper work and I was told they will be calling the insurance company to confirm that the policy covers the surgery. Which I already know Aetna covers the entire procedure and I will not even have to pay a co pay. I pray to God that everything moves quickly so I can have my consult soon and I can register for the program they provide.
Well next wednesday is my sleep apnea test I can't wait to get that out of the way.

Ok so I have my sleep study scheduled for November 15th. I am stuck not being able to get anything else done. So hopefully when I go to the info session on the 8th I will have a better idea on how to get everything else started.
I was reading my insurance policy and I see that one of the criterias is to be in a 6 month weight loss through your MD. I was hoping that surgery would be sooner and now it seems that nothing will be happening for sure until at least next July. I know it is not so far out but I just hate to wait.

I called my PCP office today and requested a referral for the sleep study. Hopefully I can get that set up asap.

I spoke with a lady from Dr. Von Rueden's office she signed me up to the free information session for November 8th. She is mailing me a package so I can fill out. I found out that Dr Rueden's program is $300.00 right now for 6months of post op care, pre op care and support group. The program will go up on the 1st of January I hope I get approved before then so I can save up on 200 dollars. lol I can't wait to hear from my PCP or the Insurance Company. I am sitting here on pins and needles.
