I took my first pills post op. I had no problem thank goodness. I was a bit apprehensive 
because I was worried that the pills might get stuck. I felt as if I had a full dinner with it tho and when it was time for dinner I could not eat. That is totally crazy! 
lol I was full with a citracal chewable, one Biotin and one vitamin D tablet. 
I was taking liquid calcium before and now I found the Citracal creamy bites. I bought the caramel one and I really like it. I look forward to my caramel fix. lol It only has 4 grams of sugar and I am now taking 2 a day. When these finish I will be trying the double chocolate ones.
It beats those huge lozanges!
Ok so now I have a little confession I have fallen off the wagon and I have not exercised for a week.
I have been busy but I really could have made an effort. I better get my butt back in gear because I want to lose a little faster and I have slowed down a bit. 
I am currently weighing in at 194.

My really big WOW moment 06/10/07

I had been really upset and I had been snacking on fruit every hour or so and this morning all I kept thinking about was eating. So I went out for a little drive and found a sale at Fashion Bug. I spent $105.00 there I needed to spend that on something else..... Oh boy I better get to counseling before I rob a bank.
This is the very first time in many many years that I enjoyed shopping.
Then I was looking for some stuff at the plus side and the lady that works there says to me... Are you shopping for someone else? I said ummm no, just for me and she said well your size is over there not here these are the plus sizes. Wow I couldn't believe what she told me!! I always had people directing me to the plus sizes all the time.
I was looking at the clothes and I kept thinking that the smaller ones are not going to fit. So of course I was looking at my previous sizes.
When I picked 3 capris, and a skort I was thinking nope these look too small... It took me forever to pick a size 16 and guess what other size...... 14........ When I tried the 14 capris and they fit I nearly passed out. I see myself as big as I was when I first got my surgery. I was crying in the fitting room and a young girl yells to her mother... Mom the lady in there is crying!! The mother kept saying what lady? and she said the one in there trying on clothes!! lol I was having my own WOW moment... It took me a little while to compose myself. lol
There were sales like buy one and get one free. Buy three and get three free I couldn't let that pass me by since the sale ends today.

3 Month Post OP

Please don't mind the goofy face Gianna made. Little Gino was jealous the entire time he saw me dressed up. I think he thought I was leaving him to go hang out or something. I don't know why I never go out anymore. lol I have lost a total of 49 pounds since March 6th. I feel great and I can't wait to see what I am going to look like when I reach my goal. I am now at ONDERLAND after 15 years (in the 100's lol) I weigh 196.6 Yahooo! I just wanted to share my happiness with you all. I am so glad that I did this for me! I couldn't believe my eyes when I weight myself this morning. I weighed in at 199. Wow it was something major to see the scale under 200 something. It has been a long time more that 15 years since I was less than 200 pounds.
I cried tears of joy!
I now have to go and buy ring guards for my wedding set because they are falling and off and I am afraid to lose them.
I have so much to be thankful!!
Thank you for all the wonderful support I get from my friends and family.

My bloodwork update

I spoke with Kathi the nurse today and she told me everything looked good except my Vitamin D. The normal range is 20 thru 30 and mine is a little low 18. I am to get vitamin D pills now and take it 3 times a week on top of the calcium with vitamin D I already take. I have to break the pill in pieces. I am scared since I have not taken any solid pills since I was pre-op. I am to up my dairy intake too.
But thank goodness everything else is at normal range!! I am so thankful for all my blessings!

I had a great visit with Dr. Von Rueden. He was very please with progress. I was a bit concerned that he would tell me I was not meeting his weight loss goal. But I was surprised when he told me that he expects his patients to lose 30% of their excess body fat by the 3rd month post op. I have lost 32% at 2 1/2 months. So I have met my goal and I am a little ahead. Yippppeeeee!
I had my blood work done and I also had my Vitmain B-12 shot. They told me I can only get my vit b-12 shot at the office when I go for a dr's visit, get it at my pcp's office or do it at home. I requested the RX to take the shot at home.
I definitely can not wait to see what the next two months brings me as far as weight loss. I can't wait to reach onederland!!
I met Nadine when I was leaving my appointment and she is a really nice lady Looking fantastic too! I just wish I had time to stick around so we could chat a bit.

I am so happy to finally be able to say that I've reached that point where I can say I feel at 100%
It took me quite a while to get here and I thank God for all my blessings! I am excited about my new lease on life. I have now increased my protein intake and feel more energy. I have been working on keeping my carbs way down so I can lose more. I am still having a little difficulty with drinking all the water I am required to drink daily. But I am proud to say that everyday I work harder to reach my goal.
I am so glad thankful to OH for making it possible for us to have a blog here. I hope to inspire others who visits my page.
I am so glad that I have a wonderful support system to help me succeed in this journey.
I feel great! I am very happy that God has given me this opportunity. I hope and pray that everyone that needs this surgery and wants it can have it. This is definitely a life changing experience and all so worth the wait.

I can finally celebrate my other *wow* moment. I can not believe that how much these little things mean to me. I bought new underwear and pretty ones too. I just couldn't stop smiling when I was looking through them at the department store. :-)
I also purchased a few pretty Bras and I was happy to hold them out proudly while I was looking for more. lol
I can't even imagine what the next three months will bring me.
