I just spoke with Melanie. Allen came through with flying colors! He even found out that he has lost 26 pounds this month by cutting out diet cokes! Melanie said he got up last night (by his request) and that he feels like a truck ran over him! Ahhhh...I remember those days well! His breathing is wonderful and he hasn't even had an ashma attack! Yea!!!!!!!

I am so happy that you made this life changing decision. No one could do this but you. You are special and now you have a wonderful chance at a long and healthy life! You are awesome and Greg and I are thinking about you! Welcome to "the other side"!!!!

Dear Allen...I'm so glad that you made it thru the surgery. Hope you get in a regular room real soon. I tried to reach your wife to see how things went, but couldn't reach her. All the nurse would tell me was that you were in ICU. Hope you do well. I'm praying for you hon. Love Ya...Momma Sandy
