my 2nd months with VSG

Today 14 July 2010, is my 2nd months having use to my new sleeve,had lost 19kgs,I feel great even the last 2 weeks my weight stall..even that I really don't miss my 4x a week at the gym for 2 hours each x..but after that the scale start moving again..I'm typing this just as soon as I finished at the gym cycle home and still have my socks on heheheh..

My diet still with no carbs,mostly protein,but no shake ,I got 2 boxes of OPTIFAST from my surgeon and I really don't like it,so every morning I start my day with lemon juice and papaya..than spend a hour at the computer than take a shower and cycle to the gym...I carry water bottle with me which i add ab out 200ml of lemon juice and alittle water to the gym..and later I will prepare soup rich in protein for dinner and beancurd.

Usually at 9pm will be watching TV and have some fruits or hard boiled egg with no york..

I'm happy working at the gym..I will feel guilty if I don't do any excercise for at least dancing at home or cycling around in the Park during week end.

Thats about all..need to have a good shower..its 34celcius here in Singapore!!

Almost week 7 of my Sleeve

Hello to all,3 more days is my week 7,it's been so long I didn't update anything,today I just came back from the Gym,I had lost 18Kgs..almost 40pounds.Am I happy? ummmm how I wish I can do more,I started cycling on my week 2  than follow up at the Gym 4times a week,every session atleast 2hours.I haven't started taking any CARBS yet,I feel fine without it, I pampered myself with lemon juice without sugar,nor mapple syrup..just pure lemon juice..ummm yummy..beside that I took my favourite fruit PAPAYA..coz its soft and least in calories beside that,every other day i will prepare fish soup with beancurd for lunch and dinner with papaya,last week end I treat myself with 4pcs of chicken nuggets and each bite I chew for 21x hahaha..and after that I felt sick and nausea the nuggets got stuck somewhere till I vommit out..OMG..

What make me happy b4 week 7th,my ring fall off..my watch so loose can just remove it like that..I can fit with my favourite blouses nicely..7th weeks of the journey is so dragging to me..I felt it is like 4 or 5 months..without my sleeve days past so fast..hihihihi..

4x a week,2 hours each seems not enough for me...I'm thinking to do twice a day..am I to much?? I guess so,the sports councils is just 10 minutes ride on my bycle..thats why I'm thinking going 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours at noon..but need to ask my hubby permission as he don't really happy I'm touchering my body rather than workout...I have slip disc,now I just got my new coset thats works so good,I will apply traditional slimming lotion (extra hot) around my tummy and my back than put on the coset and start workout,at night b4 sleep I apply again and put on my coset...amazing my tummy flatten so fast I can look down and see my ''girl-girl'' hahahaha

One Month with VSG.

Hello Friends, today is exactly 1 month after my VSG done.Since I'm still insist of Pureed diet,early this morning I had my usual fresh squeeze lemon juice warm.Than I sit here infront of the computer to check on my mail box,suddenly I felt something is not right at all,the ceiling spinning and can feel groggy and this is not normal to me,I was so scared that I'm going to faint,I scream for my daughter with my both hands hold on to the table. after about 2-3 minutes,I feel its over and I moved to my water bed and start to check my blood pressure it's normal 127/78 so I rest for a few minutes had my shower and dress up to cycle to the Sports Council for my Gym work out..I'm there for almost 2 hours,running on treadmill machine,cycling.rowing,chest excercise,stepping machine and cool down strecting,sign off and cycle about 10mins to reach home.

I'm happy to look at the scale had lost almost 32pounds in 1 month !!
Tomorrow I have a appointment to see my physio,probably trying to advice me with some mild excersice,she will be impressed if I will tell her I had started on the 1st June,just cycling and on the 6th enrol at the Gym..

To all my friends here,who are still thinking to do or not to do the operation,please take my advice..go ahead,it is a alternative to prevent from other health complication,if I can start cycling with in 2 weeks after VSG..I'm sure u guys can figure out t i mean.

VSG DONE ON 14 MAY 2010

Hi Friends, I had my VSG on the 14 May 2010,this is something very new to me..opp ok..my name is Shasha,I'm 46 and I'm from Singapore.I suffer from Hypertension 3 years ago and I do have Depression since 2004 and still on follow up.3 years ago my weight is 90kg,I was working in M-HOTEL SINGAPORE as Front Office Call Centre Agent and had a fall at work lead to suffering from slip disc( L4/L5) I can't do exercise and was so down,than my weight up to 135kg (height 1.66)Last December I quit smoking (cold turkey) from there I started craving for ice cream and lot's more heavy meals and my weight goes up from 135kg to 156kg in just 5 months.

My Doctor,who treated my Hypertention refer me to Bariatric Surgeon,than he explain to me the alternative to loss weight fast and avoid getting more chronics sickness,I'm scared,I ask some friends and all of them giving me negative reply ( you got a healthy stomach why do u want to cut it? done cannot be undone and bla bla ) so I start to do alot of research on the internets and also on Youtube to see how the operaton been done..OMG so scary,my hubby,son and daughter said ''NO''..But at that time my heart said''Go for it,just pray hard'' after doing alot of pre opp test including Andiogram,Doctor said I'm fit for Major Operation as my BMI is 56 !! There is alot of risk including FATAL!!

Thanks to all my love ones who pray hard for me,to my Doctor J.Rao who successfully did a great job without any complication,I have to stay for 5 days,the first 2 days is like hell,stomach full of wind,left side was very painfull,I keep pressing the Mophine and day by day its getting better and now I had lost 14kgs in less than 1month.

My tips, since I'm on liquid diet from week 1-week 3, I make myself fresh lemon juice no sugar no honey no mapple syrup..just 5 fresh lemon squeeze and add 700ml of water and chill it,that is my beverage beside H20. Even now I'm surpose to be on Pureen diet,I don't care at all because I dont feel hungry so my lemon juice always by my side and a few times I credit my body with 1 half boiled egg or make some clear fish soup all is for my protein.
I don't or never yet take any cereal,cheese,shake ETC.I dont have the craving,the smells is just enough,I experience taking mashed papaya not that much and ended up feeling sick dizzy and feeling something pressing my internal new sleeve and this will go off after 2hours.
So I dont want to suffer..as for now I have started cycling and going to the GYM with my COSET on to support my slip disc and also help flatten my tummy..

Anybody thinking to go or not for VSG,please make up your mind,do it before you been diagnose with other health complication..Think positvely !!
