Michael King Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. King is great. He was very nice & seemed very compassionate. He took his time with you and address any questions or concerns you have. You felt like a real person & not like you were just being run through the mill. Everyone at the office has been great so far especially his nurse - Micki. He let you know all the risk but also risk w/o having surgery. I have talked to people who's surgery hes done and all seem to like him - no negative things to say. He wants you to suceed.

Well they moved my first consult up, I met my doctor and i think I am really going to like him. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr.Laws was very helpful in answering any quistions i had and he very much emphasizes aftercare. now i have a few more test to go through and then we will have to waite on the insurance to decide yes or no.ok tody is 3-27-02. i have changed docs i went to dr.laws aug.of last year i went to the first conslt and went to two different test he ordered and to this day i havent heard any thing at all from him or his office.............soooo i found another doctor he is in mississippi its far away but i e-mailed them the end of febuary they e-mailed me back within 2 days then his nurse called me got all my information over the phone 3 weeks later i got a letter from my insurance company APPROVING me for surgery..so now i have an appointment in may for my psychological eval then meet the doctor for the first time .. so now after waiting so long maybe i will finally get a surgery date or some thing..

I have not met Dr. King yet but hope to once the insurance has approved the surgery. I am trying to be optomistic (sp?). I should know something in a few weeks and will update later.

I really like Dr. King. From the First consult til now I still adore him.

Me, my husband and sister consulted with Dr. King Feburary 26, 2002. We were very impressed with him. He was easy to talk with and answered all my questions and concerns. I feel real good about my choice to have my surgery done by Dr. King. His staff are really nice and very helpful. Dr. King recommends that all his patience participate 100% in the aftercare program.

I really did like Dr. King. He did explain in detail what I would be going through and this surgery is a WAY to help with the weight lose not the answer. There are still going to have to be efforts made with this surgery to be a sucess. As far as his office staff they were nice to me and answered alot of questions I was sneaking around asking but, I needed to know.The aftercare is the only part I am a little nervous about but other than that I,m ready. I think I will take care of myself and do good and I think Dr. King will be there right beside me to help me if I need him. He really seems to care about me!!!!!!!!!

I talked with Dr. King today and he made me feel very comfortable. I like a doctor that has eye on eye contact and will be honest with you and tell you both the pro's and con's and he did just that. I am chosing him to do my surgery and I do recommend him. If I had to rate him on a scale of 1-10 it would be a 10. He emphasize alot about the aftercare and the risk of this surgery. I liked him and I feel he was open and honest and really cared about ME!!!

My first impression of Dr. King was great. He seems to be a very knowledgable surgeon.
His staff was wonderful. They were very polite. I felt very comfortable around them all. Dr. King really emphasized the importance of following his orders after surgery. Everyone has told me that was the key to success.

Still waiting for LivLite to finish my paperwork so I can get an appt. with Dr. King. I will post more after I get to meet him and his staff! :)
