Barix Clinics (NW Suburban Com. Hospital) Hospital
Over all the hospital was good, i do belive the night staff (midnights) were horriable they didn't want to work or something when i would call for help i had either sloooooow response or none at all, thank god i wasn't in need of that much help huh... but other than that everyone during the day was great and the hospital was clean and i enjoyed my stay. I was also lucky enuff to have my own room so no problems there. All i can say is it was worth all that to be a regular lady someday soon... only 8 days post op now.
Overall I was happy with my experience at this hospital. If I could change anything it would have to be the bathroom situation. 4 people to a bathroom is too many. Especially when there is a "hat" full of somebody elses urine sitting there that you have to wait for a nuse to come record info about and empty. This can sometimes take 10 mins. or more to happen. The nurses were truly wonderful people but were spread thin and had alot to do.My other big gripe would be the janitors coming in at all hours of the night and making lots of noise and doing alot of banging around. When you are that exhausted and are already getting up several times a night to do walking, weighing, breathing exersizes, medications, and vitals(which I know are all very neccessary) the last thing you want as soon as you get a little time to rest is a bunch of comotion from cleaning people who don't even attempt to be quiet at all. But I did love Dr. Boe and 99% of the nursing staff!
