"Dr. Tanaka was very professional and did not talk to me like I was an idiot. He appeared very no-nonsense and very efficent, coming in and getting right to the point. He spoke of the benefits and potential complications, including death. Then he asked how far I could walk before I got out of breath. I lay down and he poked my ankles and abdomen and said I could be done laprascopically. We went over the aftercare, of which I had the most concern. Aftercare was extremely important to Dr. Tanaka. He asked if I had any questions. During the Q&A, he was much more personable and we talked about singing opera after the surgery and reminiscing about living in San Francisco. I am very excited to have him operate on me."
