Hi all,

Havent checked in for quite some time....have been lurking.  Surgery was May 30 (Roux en Y) and I am doing great.  Down 66 lbs, exercising 5 days a week, reversed being pre diabetic to levels that are completely normal range, and overall feeling great.  I had 1 minor dumping episode in early september when I ate a sauce that I didnt know had the amount of added sugar it did.  Other than that, all is going well.  The odd time I feel like I might have eaten one or two bites too much, but I have thrown up only twice since surgery, and have really not felt many side effects.  I do sometimes have bouts of nausea, cant figure out why, but they pass and I go on.

In general, I have no regrets, and feel wonderful.  I have 14 lbs to go to get into the 100's, a number I havent seen in many many years, and all of my clothes are seriously too big on me.  It is a great problem to have.

Hope everyone else is doing well

Robyn

You are doing fantastic. Sometimes it is hard to know what our stomachs will react to. One day something can be fine and the next you can tolerate it. But as you said it is a great journey

That has to be one of the best feelings in the world, having clothes too big!! Nothing ever fit me properly before my surgery and if l didn't wear it for awhile, when l did, it was too tight and I needed another size bigger.  I found out the hard way everything didn't shrink in wash!  LOL

Your doing awesome, congratulations, keep up the good work!!
