Good morning train riders...today is my stress echo for cardiac clearance so I'm just sitting here stressing over it!!  I have no cartilage in my left knee and degenerative bone disease in my right hip so I should just be tearing up that treadmill, don't ya think??  I just hope I can complete the test.  I heard the chemical ones are no fun at all. Sara, is your dog showing signs of labor or did the vet just say she thought it would be yesterday?  I am the proud grandmother of 13 pug puppies- one litter had 7, the other 6.  It was the so much fun.  I am a L&D nurse and sat up all night with my momma pug until she had them.  She stayed in one spot, wouldn't drink or use the bathroom and panted the entire time until she started pushing.  The whole process took about 16 hrs. Once they started coming it was over in about one hour.  I bought old fashioned pot holder loops at the craft store and used them as collars.  So as they grew, I knew who was who.  I just changed the collars as they grew but kept the same color for each one.  Anyway, good luck and keep us posted. Susan, I hope, I hope, I hope you sell your house today!! Hope everyone has a grand time at the fireworks tonight.  We are going to a poker party tomorrow with all the traditional fixins.  Then it's back to work for me after a week off...boo hiss.

Hey Dude, you better start finding some more stuff to auction, you're already over $20 and still have 6 more days to go!!  I hear the black and white undies were a hit with some of the ladies!!!!!  Seriously, we are VERY proud of you for being an inspiration to other WLS people as well as working so hard for your charity.  My hat's off to you...or should I say fuzzy pink slippers.

Congrats!!!!  Your pictures are beautiful and also congrats on nursing school.  I am an RN and know how hard it is.  You are doing fantastic!!

Hey Danni, welcome back.  I'm sending you a cyber butt massage, I bet you need it after all that sitting!!  Take the time to rest and don't wear yourself out unpacking.  We're glad you're back.

Susan, I am so sorry to hear that you need more surgery, please know that we will be there with you in spirit and tons of prayers will be going up for you, the surgeons and for a great nursing staff with good drugs!!  Keep us posted.

Glad to hear you are doing well.  Hope you are on serious drugs, it could make the day a lot more fun!!  Take care and don't over-do it. 

Awesome pictures!!  Sorry about the hand (ouch) but how fun is it that you're able to play flag football? (LOL).  Keep up the good work, I love reading about success stories.

Personally Mel, I love reading recipes on-line!!  Thanks so much for posting.  And for those that don't think they should be posted here, all they have to do is look at the topic and skip it.  Keep them coming, I'm compiling a recipe folder for when I am post-op.  They both sound yummy!!

Good morning... Let's start with David...hope you don't get sunburned at your meeting...like you say, tough job but somebody has to do it. Karla, I scrapbooked my entire daughter's life from birth to 7th grade in one year and haven't touched it since.  She's now in college... bad mommy. What's with the dental thing?  Hope it's not like drinking the water...Terry Ann don't talk to Sara while you're under the influence, no telling what you two might talk about! Alissa, I am so jealous, Colorado sounds great compared to Texas in the summer. Gina, watch out girl!!   Tighten that seat belt as you teach him to drive.  My daughter hit a barrel and knocked the side mirror off the car when I was teaching her.  Then my DH went to the junk yard and bought a blue one to replace it with- the car was black!!  In his mind it was close enough.  What are you gonna do, he does take out the trash. My daughter and I are out for another day of shopping.  (We just wormed the dogs and don't want to be home to see the results.) Hugs and kisses to Sara and Terry Ann and anyone else in the RCC.
