My surgery was approximately 1 1/2 months ago. For the last month have had severe diarrhea green in color and burning. This can occur up to 4-6X a day especially during the night. I know with this type of surgery, diarrhea can occur as the bile passes straight through into the bowel. Has anyone experienced this, and what was the treatment? Bile Acid Sequestrants? Thanks.
This is not uncommon, your body had surgery, give it some time.
If you have a specific question for me, PM me or I will not see it, as I don't check responses on the forums and don't have anything forwarded to my email.

Both my PCP and now the new Endo say the same thing. Hope to have the first treatment by the end of April. Good luck!! Let's hope this works.

Thank you Holly. Any side effects?
none whatsoever.
Thanks Janet,
My Endo is concerned that if my calcium isn't in the medium to high range once I'm given the prolia injection my calcium could drop which could cause issues so in order to increase my calcium levels he provided a 24 hour urine analysis to see what was going on with my calcium.
it seems that my kidneys were not processing my calcium as well So a simple water pill has seen to improve my calcium numbers I go back Friday for an updated CMP and if my calcium is high enough I am assuming I get my 1st injection
I have had 2 wrist fractures. I had fortero for 2 years and saw great bone growth with that but now I need prolia to solidify those efforts

Great news to read that there's some success with Prolia!! Hope it works for me.
