The Coast-to-Coast Medal

Since I've now down a race at WDW, all I have to do is another race at Disneyland this calender year and I can get the new "Coast-to-Coast" medal.

Since Disneyland is  cheaper vacation for me -- we can drive down and make a long weekend of it instead of flying and making a week of it -- I've decided to do it.

The only race they have this year that isn't full is the races for the Half Marathon weekend. Which is also Mr. Mac's birthday weekend so that works out as he'd love to go to Disneyland for his birthday.

Registration opens up Jan 18th but money is tight right now so I'm wondering if anyone knows how fast this race sells out?

Also, is anyone else interested in doing it?

Im interested in doing it! I think i will sign up for it. I think 9 months is a good time frame for me to train for it.

I just wish I could figure out how fast it sells out. I can't afford to sign up until early Feb!

You will be fine to wait to early Feb.  It will sell out but not that quickly.

The Disney World races didn't sell out that fast, so I'm sure you've got plenty of time.  Congrats on going Coast to Coast!  I'm a little jealous!  :)

And you have a Goofy medal and I'm a little bit jealous of that.

I am hoping to make the Disneyland 1/2 my first 1/2. A friend ran last year and I know that she didn't sign up until Feb. I also know that sometimes the teams are looking for members later on in the year. I am in the same boat with you though.

Well, right now I can't even buy groceries. I'm a contractor so I only get paid every 30 days for the work I did 2 months prior and that's causing cash flow issues.
