Going to be a weird work-out week - my older daughter's prom is Friday so there are lots of little details that need to be dealt with and will crowd out my gym time plus some after work meetings.

Monday - Fencing for 2 hours

Tuesday - If the weather holds, 60 minute bike ride outside.

Wednesday - work and meetings from 7 am to 9 pm. Maybe a quick walk at lunch time. (Usually a fencing day)

Thursday - Another bike ride or the gym if I can carve out some time followed by a 2.5 hour choir rehearsal.

Friday - strength training in the morning followed by prom running around the rest of the day.

Saturday - Hike, if the weather holds.

Sunday - God rested - so do I.

have a great week everyone!

Keep on losing!

Well I did not get one of my run done this past week so I will make sure I get it done this week. It has been a rough time for me. Been ill and my body just can not seem to fight this cold. It has moved into the chest again so looks like another trip to the doctor.

Congrats! I also did the C25K program many moons ago when I was just before I hit my goal weight. I played a lot of sports growing up but running for fun was never one of them, so I needed a lot of direction. Good luck with the training!

So last week at work they had an informational meeting about the Couch To 5K program. Since I have met my surgeon's weight loss goal I decided it was time to get off my rear end and get back into running (I used to love running when I was younger and always maxed out the PT test for the run while I was in the Army). It has been very easy to do and I just completed Week2 Run 1 yesterday. My goal is to run a complete 5K before fall.
