Topic: RE: Wiping your bum after Full Tummy Tuck???

I understand exactly what you mean . I had a full tummy tuck last monday on August 10th. I been able to do alot of things for myself but wiping my own bum after a bowel movement hasn't been one of them. I just don't have the reach I had before , I know that in time I will be able to wipe on my own but right now I depend on my children (daughter). Don't get me wrong I do sit on the toilet and try but I just can't reach enough.

Thank you! For me the no bad reviews always make me think! But I have a consult with him and hopefully all will go well.

I have never seen a bad review on this doctor. I was just reading on another site a woman who is just 3 days post op with him now on Mexico. She is so incredibly happy!!

I guess its quite common to see the swelling after plastic surgery because of incisions made during surgery. This prompts the body to flood the surgical areas with fluids, white blood cells, and other chemicals to start the healing process. so don't get panic and stay calm.

  1. Hi all, I had RNY gastric bypass in 2002. With the help of Keto ive.gone below goal and have saved enough for plastic surgery. I have been looking at surgeons in Mexico and Dr. Galvez was recommended and I have yet to find a negative review. Has anyone here had surgery or experience with him? I'm nervous going out of country and want the best result. I'm super impressed with the pictures on his IG but still nervous! TIA. Sw:332lb . Gw:132lbs Cw:118lbs

Topic: RE: Arm Lift - Brachioplasty

I had my brachioplasty as soon as I got to goal. It was way back in 2009 and I think I paid $4000 out of pocket. I had to do it for my mental health.

I would not expect many people to donate to your gofundme. Work on improving your credit score and look into getting a loan (a higher score will help you get a lower interest rate). Cut back on your living expenses where ever possible. Where there is a will, there is a way.

Congrats on your success. Good luck on your plastic surgery journey!

I had a brachioplasty and lower body lift 3 years after gastric bypass. It was not paid by insurance. I had these surgeries done in Monterrey, MX in Feb 2020. I had a great experience & results, and the cost was a lot less than if I had it done in the U.S.

yes - I had one. I'm not sure what the cost of the arm lift itself was because I had it along with some other procedures that day, but when I first started researching plastic surgery, I was told (by people on bariatric sites who'd been through it) to expect $8K-10K per procedure, although that was three years ago so it may be more by now. I did four consults and found that guesstimate pretty much rang true. You could probably get it done for about half that if you go to Mexico - but I wanted to stay fairly local.

I paid out of pocket. I think most of us have to as most insurance policies don't cover plastic surgery unless you have some medical issues with it that can't be resolved with standard treatment - such as chronic rashes that don't respond to anything else.
