pants too tight?
Okay honestly how far along were you when your pants got tight?? I swear by this time of day my jeans are tight! I have read that after a couple of pregnancies you show sooner, I am NOT showing by any means and with my belly flab I am sure I won't for a while!
So anyway please share when your clothes got tight!!

My pants started being too tight from all the bloat at around 7-8 weeks. I moved into full fledge maternity pants at 12-13 weeks because I just couldn't stand to walk around with my jeans undone by the end of the day. Several people I know purchased a belly band from motherhood to help for the in between time where you don't really need maternity yet but your regular pants were just uncomfortable.
Beth,
My pants would button, zip, etc for quite awhile, but near the beginning I did feel like they were just a little too tight. They weren't that comfortable, anyway. It was probably right around 6-8 weeks. Then around 10-12 it seemed better again...then I really started to grow. Anyway, I found that a bella band (I bought mine online) worked great. You're probably not actually big enough for maternity pants yet, but a bella band will allow you to leave your pants "open" and you'll be more comfortable. Plus, it'll help hold up maternity pants when they're still a little too big for you.

I started wearing maternity clothes at 10 weeks - no joke. At 10 weeks I looked like I did at 18 weeks last time.
When I saw my Doc at 12 weeks I asked her if she thought I was crazy for wearing maternity already - LOL! She said totally normal - her words exactly "after the first baby your body is wrecked and when you get pregnant your uterus immediately FLOPS out there" LOL!
She didn't measure me last week at my 16 week appointment and made a comment that I sure did "flop" out there - well YEAH, what do you expect I just had a baby 17 months ago! LOL

Dawn you always make me laugh! I have alot of belly flab from carrying quads( totally ruined the skin muscles and everything else in there ) then the WLS gave me this ever so lovely skin flab but my uterus must be growing behind there and pushing out for my pants to be tight! I am sure I will be wearing maternity clothes early if my pants are too tight at almost 9 weeks!
Can't wait til my little baby flops out there!lol
Thanks for sharing with me!

I'm in search of a few good bella bands myself...scouring EBay! I was bloated by the end of the day around 9 wks. Jeans and I don't get along right now either. My regular clothes fit, but the discomfort of having anything restrictive on my belly is huge these days.
I'd definitely say you're normal!
