Topic: Well, I think this is it!!

I took a hpt on tuesday the 18th (10 dpo) in the EVENING and got faint positive. Waited for fmu on wednesday - faint positive. So I made my dr. appointment for later that day only to get a negative and be sent home. As soon as I got home I took ANOTHER hpt - positive! I wondered if I was just using crappy tests so I went and bought a clearblue easy digital. PREGNANT. Go to doctor yesterday and it says negative on the urine test. Come home, use a first response early result and within 30 seconds...second pink line and not as faint. I have a total of 7 hpt positives and people are still skeptical.

*I* know I am at least pregnant right now. Whether it sticks or not is up to God but hey, Conception happened :) One reason I "KNOW" .. my plastics left me with the ability to lay on my back and relax my muscles to get a concaved tummy. I can't do that right now...I know it's just bloating/uterus swelling/water but I don't get that with cycles...ever.  Just gotta wait until monday for my blood test then tuesday I should get results. ^_^ lets hope this little bean decides to grow!

I am on my 4th round of Clomid right now, and along with the Clomid, I also take estradoyl, and HCG injection. I started out on 50mg and I am up to 150 this last cycle and this time as well. We did IUI last month with out success. So it has been a frustrating journey for us so far.

In my experience, the Clomid side effects have been kinda rough. I am in the middle of taking the Clomid right now and the hot flashes stop me in my tracks...it's like a burning inferno that shoots up your entire body lasts 5-10 min and then goes away.  Last cycle, I was also exhausted......I mean more tired than I have ever felt in my entire life, but this time it's not as bad. I see my doctor next week for an ultrasound, and I am going to discuss femara with him at that time because I am starting to get a little frustrated and disappointed with the treatment so far.

Hey Melanie,

I was wondering if you were able to invite me as the admin as not yet? is her group where she as the admin can only invite or can members? Sorry if I seem anxious but I have been looking for a closed private group on FB for a couple of years.

Thanks!

Looks like my little girl is starting out stubborn lol. My due date is june 27th but my ob only gave me till the 25th for her to come on her own to attempt a v-bac. Looks like the 25th is gonna be her day weather she likes it or not... cant wait for my little boy to be a big brother but a little sad that hes not gonna be my only baby anymore. Also looking forward to seeing what my bodys capable of post baby being that i got pregnant right after rny. Babys been developing healthy but slightly small. And ive lost about 85 lbs since surgery. Managed to get below 200 this pregnancy ( wasnt aiming to lose like that- my body just did it) cant believe that im 110lbs lighter than i was when i was 9 months pregnant for my son. its been a crazy 9 months- a rollercoaster in more ways than one!

That's great! What dosage of Fremara worked for you? How did they know you were clomid resistant? The only side effects I have had are "warm" flashes. Feels like when you drink coffee and get warm from the inside out. I hope its working magic ;) haha

Femara worked for me!!!!! I had the same experience with Clomid as you did. Infact I was clomid resistant. Femara worked and no side effects.

I used clomid for my 2 babies pre-wls.  The first round I did 50 mg, got pregnant first cycle with twins (twins run in my family and I am a twin so may or may not be related to clomid), miscarried, got pregnant again after 1st round of clomid and had my oldest. With #2 I went up to 100 mg of clomid and it took 3 cycles to get pregnant.  I had no ultrasounds or anything so no idea about follicles etc.  The one thing I will say from temp charting is that I ovulated a few days later than they predicted with the clomid.

We got really lucky with clomid but I know some people really struggle. I'm 37 weeks with our first child conceived on first round of clomid at 50 mg, they knew we released two eggs but only one fertilized, it was a very clinical process as far as being told when to have sex lots of blood work and etc, but well worth it as we await our baby girl! I would agree with the previous post, dryness is an issue. Good luck to you! It's an easy way to start and give it a few rounds! Xxx
