Well its been a while since I've updated..... Just to catch everyone up: I am 24yo & 2yrs post op. We have been trying for over a year. in feb I had labs drawn that prove that while I am young I do have a LOW ovarian reserve. My AMH is .9 and my fsh is borderline high :-( we have undergone 3 clomid 100mg cycles with the last being with a trigger shot and progesterone after Ovulation and I'm still not pregnant. My BEST option would be IVF but our insurance doesn't have any of the 12,000 $ that it costs and we just can't afford it, no way no how. So now we are going to try a new med Fremara and pray it works. If we don't get pregnant this cycle then we will attempt an IUI in August. I have had an HSG and while both tubes are open I do have a dilation in one and from what they can tell its from adhesions that I have from my c-section. If Ido not cconceive within 2-3 cycles of IUIs then I will need surgery to remove adhesions. I have had many surgeries and therefore I am boycotting any ones that aren't life or death ;)....well unless its plastic surgery ;-). I know there used to be quite a few ttc ladies in here, many have already had their babies. If any are left please raise your hand ;-). There is a PRIVATE Fb group that is specific to TTC after WLS and its really great. Full of support and experience as many have gone through all the tests/treatments they offer. Its also much more active than this site. I am barely ever in here bc FB is just more convenient and faster with responses. So here I am CD3 od cycle.....15i****s been far too many. I pray this is it! :-) I wish all you ttc'ers, bumps and babies the best of luck!!!!

That's great that your in the process of getting answers! Knowledge is power ;) I hope all your tests come back good and your able to get a bfp soon! Just FYI: there is a FB (private) group for women specifically ttc after Wls. They are really great and offer a lot of support and knowledge as many have undergone fertility treatments/ testing ect. I myself have been ttc for well over a yr. I am 2yr post op RNY. Have a low AMH and have have 3 cycles of 100mg of clomid (1w trigger shot) with no success. I am actually starting a new med, Fremara today. Let me know if you want to join the FB group since its by invite only :) Anyone else who is TTC and wants to join please let me know. I have 4 close friends who have under gone the same tests as you have, they ALL had the HCG test and within 2 months they were all successfully pregnant! All of their fertility docs told them sometimes the HCG test clears the tubes out and increases the chance of getting pregnant. 2 of my friends have had WLS and 2 are overweight and have PCOS. Good luck with all of your tests.
