7 Weeks pregnant. Morning sickness kicked in full force in the last week and I'm so already over it. I have a feeling that everything unpleasant about pregnancy is going to get old really fast for me. On a brighter note, we get our first peek at the newest addition on the 18th of this month! I can't wait to see the little peanut. The last few weeks have been scary and eventful. Not sure if I'm. super paranoid that something is going to go wrong because its so soon after my last baby or. what but I've been to the er to be checked for ectopic pregnancy and cleared. alsi had a scare when i experienced some spotting but I am sure now that it was simply vagginal/cervical irritation that. caused it.

I had issues breastfeeding, but I had issues bfing my preop baby too so I don't think it had anything to do with wls.

Its so crazy! I was upset at first. i really didn't want to be pregnant again so soon but its hard when nearly every form of birth control doesn't work for you in one way or another. we seriously have to rely on rhythm and withdraw methods which aren't very effective. As soon as I got my first period in April I downloaded a period tracker app so I could keep track of when I was going to ovulatr and avoid my fertile days. we avoided sex a whole week before and after ovulation and it still happened. haha jokes on me because I evidently ovulated a whole week later than I was supposed to. I'm feeling better about it now and even a little excited. bad news is all the lovely early pregnancy symptoms are in full swing so I'm physically beyond exhausted, sick, and soooo emotional.

Its hard because I felt like I was finally getting back on track and here comes another detour. I'm still (Only) 60 pounds from goal and I'm determined to get there one way or another. It won't be as easy as it is to lose when.your new post op but I'm willing to put in the work. I'm currently in the mid 210's and just as with my previous pregnancies, hormnes and morning sickness have me dropping the pounds. down 12 from pre preggo weight so far. i haven't really talked to my surgeon just to his assistant to get what labs need to be drawn and my pcp will take care of them.

Topic: RE: 31 weeks with twins after bpd/ds - babies behind

Im 2 years postop vsg. Im currently 24 weeks pregnant, and suffering from a kink (due to baby girl crowding my sleeve)... Making me vomit most solid foods. I do ok with some softer foods, and protein drinks, but usually take in about 300-500 cal per day.  I am currently about 5lbs from my pre pregnancy weight... I had dropped 9lbs from morning sickness, then regained back almost to my pre preg weight... Ten dropped 5lbs in last few weeks.

doctors assure me she is a very efficient little parasite and will digest my muscles and suck calcium from my bones if needed. LOL. They encourage me to get my vitamins and protein, do the best i can, and monitor her closely with growth scans. At 28 weeks i will begin twice weekly stress testing, and every 2 week growth scans. S far, she is doing well, but had dropped off the curve some. (She is still in average range for now, as i have measured ahead all this time).

(((hugs)))  mama, hang in there!

Topic: RE: Newly pregnant- what vitamins do you take?

My dr. Had me stay on the same vits, as all my labs were good, and things were working. I take two centrum complete, extra calcium, iron, b12, and d3. She didnt seem concerned about the extra vit a, as absorption probably limits things some.

i did do a fresh round of nutritional labs as soon as i found out, and am repeating again at 24 weeks (when i do my routine mid pregnancy labs).

Topic: RE: IVF Question on follicles

I went through IVF after surgery.  I was extremely discouraged and could not afford the treatments.  Nurse suggested I try Gustafasen I think it is spelled it is in Mucinex.  I bought a bottle of Mucinex and I was pregnant in one month.  In thins mucus like when u have a cold or allergies so it allows the sperm to get to the egg easier.  I used during ovulation week.  I also passed the bottle along and it got two other friends from work pregnant as well who were trying for months through fertility.  It was crazy.  I could not believe how it helped the process.  Good luck in the future.

Topic: Pregnant!!!
So icalled the doctors office today and I talked to te RN and she said that the blood test did come back positive and that my hcg level is currently at 54 and to make sure my doctor does another test to be sure that the levels are going up but if I'm only a couple weeks pregnant I think that number seems normal doesn't it?!?
