My favorite one-that dh and my kids will drink since it doesn't taste like a protein shake--is 1/2 cup OJ, 1 dannon light and fit peach yogurt, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, 6 ice cubes in a blender
Oh, and my protein has always been too low

I can't really comment on your specific situation, but I wanted to wish you the best! My husband and his twin brother were born at 28 weeks and while they spent a while in the hospital, they are perfectly fine now! Both are very bright and successful with no long term effects due to being born so early.
200 grams~ WOW~!!! Can you tolerate protein shakes?? I get 30-35 grams protein in a shake-maybe that's a way to do it? I have always aimed for 80-100 but that was pre-pregnancy, but I wasn't told to increase with pregnancy--my labs were fine--I need to get them re-done-my baby is 1 month old today!
Should add--I"m RNY so my malabsorption is much less than yours.
Thanks for your reply. He also just says to up my protein. It's sooo difficult for me, but I started logging it today and "force feed" myself! :) How much protein do I need per day? Any idea? Dr. Barbara Luke's book, When You're Expecting Twins, Triplets, and Quads says that for twin pregnancy you need 176g!!! And then there is the malabsorbtion. I will never get 200+ down!
I doubt it's wls related--the babies will take what they need out of your reserves and if you aren't loosing weight then you can't be dipping into your reserves much---what does your MD say?
The only thing I can think of that would help is to just keep eating high protein/high fat and see if that helps.
