Congratulations on the overhead squats! I find squats challenging enough without any added weights - it's a knee thing, I think. The DEXA scan is a good idea, and it's really quite ineresting. Where is your daughter going?

Thank you. She is going to London for a month's mini-semester. She will take two classes, but there is plenty of time for sightseeing, plays, etc. while they are there.

Hope you had an enjoyable long weekend.

What a wonderful experience for her! I've known several people who lived in London for a bit, and they all loved it. Thanks - my weekend was great!

Jim, I really admire all your hard work and progress. I love seeing my progress in the gym and the feeling of strength and accomplishment when I do something new. Great job!

Kelly, I so often love your menus and wonder if DH and DD eat what you do.

Sometimes we might have the same protein for dinner or Em will eat the second 1/2 of something I make but the majority of the time nope.

A: Having a hard time a night, if especially if something upsetting happens during the day. Yesterday my mom's aide, from before the nursing home, text me by mistake. I answered back with a "Who is this?" (FYI she changed phone numbers often I had 3 different ones in my phone and this was not one of them) She must have had my name on the contact because she was all nice and asked about how my mom was doing. When I tried calling, as not to tell her over text it went straight to voicemail. I received a tirade back of name calling and nastiness... I'm guessing to the person she thought she sent the original text. I commented back that it was still me and that I was now blocking her. Did a bit of a spiral out of control last night but did stop once I was really aware of it... Live and learn.

Wrong number texts are the worst. I have a tenant who changes numbers constantly and I never know if it's her or just some random person texting me. Hang in there.
