Topic: Did they have you do a sleep study pre-op? Think I have sleep apena. But not sure.
I think I may have sleep apnea, but I am not for sure.
I am very overweight. I am always tired... but I don't know if it's because of my weight or sleep apnea. Took a vacation with my family last summer and my mom who is a nurse said it sounded like I might have sleep apnea. She said I snore very loudly and sounded like my dad. My dad has severe sleep apnea. And so does my grandpa.
I wonder if I should request a sleep study? Let it go? I have been approved but haven't had any pre-op testing yet. It is something I am worried about... but I'm not sure if they will test for it anyway? Or if I should call my regular doctor and request to be tested?

I just posted a message today asking if someone was interested in my CPAP for free. Only have to pay shipping. You can get Cpap machines for little of nothing once they are used but I would rather give mine free as a lot of people do.
If interested let me know.Maybe I can ship so you just pay the shipping at that end.

That's sounds good. I would like to give to someone that can't afford one but really needs one. It has it's own carrying bag and everything. Even card so they can monitor your Apnea.
Mine is set so it kicks in to adjust my breathing. I forget how it works but I think mine is set from 1 to 4. If my breathing well shallow then 4 would kick in. I have a mask with mine but he would probably want to change the hosing and mask. The hosing he might be able to put into ho****er and wa**** well but I would get another mask.
I love my Cpap. I could not wait to go to bed and sleep with Mr. Cpap
Once I started losing the weight My body did not want it anymore so I had to stop using it.

If there is someone that can't afford, maybe know insurance to pay for a cpap I have one I'm willing to give away free. I only ask for you to pay the shipment.

I just go my new mask Friday and it is a sleepwearer cloth mask if is wonderful. If you keep having trouble with the pillow you may want to try it. I Love Love it.
