Daughter Request
Beth, my daughter, is having her lung biopsy in the morning. She has to be at the hospital at 6:30(it is about 1 hour from our house). They are going to drop DGD#2 off at our house at 5:30 in the morning. DH and I are going to take her to my son and daughter in laws to stay for the weekend on our way to the hospital.
Her surgery is scheduled for 8:15 in the morning. She will be in surgical intensive care tomorrow and tomorrow night.
Please pray for her, the surgeon and the nurses and that it is just some type of fungus that can be treated with medicine.
I'll update when I can tomorrow.

It could be a several things. If it is a fungus, they have to do the biopsy to find out what type it is so they will know what type of antifungal medicine to give her to clear it up. Fungus just seems like the best thing it could be from the list he gave us of possibilities. They have not ruled anything out yet. The believe it is growing too fast to be cancer, but can't rule it out without doing the biopsy.

I had a lung tumor removed in October of 2012. It was benign and I still have two tumors on the lung. The recovery was very difficult, so I wanted to give you a head's up that your daughter will be very tired. Recovery for me was 6 weeks before I felt like myself again. Best thing you can do is prepare or buy some family sized meals for her. I am thinking of you and praying for you all.
