Merry Monday Morning! Mondays are my new Saturdays! I get to recover from busy dog show weekends instead going to school. Such a luxury. Makes me very, very, very happy.
Once I get out and about I have errands and errands to run - pick up new meds for dad, deliver meds, visit, get to the post office to clean out dad's PO Box, Costco run, call the vet, work on the regional club newsletter, pay a few bills, training session at 5, then brother is coming with his dog to spend the night....
202.9 - always weird to me to weigh exactly the same as the day before.
Not much else going on... I think I've got plenty on my plate, though. LOL!

Hi guys! I have house guests but will pop in later to catch up. Been very sad the last week with all the turmoil. Everything else is good. Thanks for worrying!
119.2 - still sticking around but it is a fine weight. I also weighed Justice and he was up .4 since July. Hmmm...could be that cheese he has been insisting on in his dinner or it could be treats during his stays with DSD.
I txted CC to ask if all was okay with her and her family. Hopefully will hear back later.
I got everything done yesterday that I had planned. I am completely unpacked and I am typing on my new iPad. The weather was absolutely beautiful and looks like it may be the same today. Apparently it rained a LOT last week so I arrived at the right time.
I have an initial appointment with a new PCP today. I may keep my PCP up north as well but shift tests to here. I was having a hard time scheduling things up north during the time I was there and the office was an hour from where we live there. I am overdue for a mammogram and need to see an ENT to follow up on likely benign thyroid nodules.

The only time I went to multiple wineries was in Napa and I quickly learned that 3 in one day was my max.
We took the kids to the Baseball Hall of Fame many years ago. Too much information I didn't care about. I remember thinking that I would have rather sat at or walked around the lake nearby.

I like pot roast too as does DH. But I haven't made it for years (certainly not since I met him). Will have to try it your way at some point.

I enjoy wineries too and cheese and crackers are always a treat. I could do charcuterie for dinner most nights!

Diane, absolute admiration for the discipline you flex by starting and completing your gym plans. Has it been over a year now since you started going consistently?
Busy day exploring wineries in the Finger Lakes region. We went on a walk to a waterfall in the morning. The woods smelled spectacular. After that we visited 3 very different in feel wineries. I did a tasting at each one. When we finished number 3, I was definitely done with wine for the day. It was lots of fun to try so many different wines, and I think I learned a few things about what I like. We had some cheese and crackers along with our wines, which is always my favorite. The weather was perfect, sunny, but not too hot. The lake region is extremely scenic. A very good day.
Right now DH and friends are watching the Vikings game on the TV in the breakfast room. I watched for awhile, but not really my thing. I came up to the room, and will go to sleep in a little bit. Tomorrow we drive to Cooperstown to go to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Absolute bucket list item for our friend. I will bring a book, because I'm sure I will finish the museum before the others. Not a problem, a little time alone will be good.
