I thought the visual was going to be a guy sitting on the crapper with the door wide open!

Well, I now have 3 specialists in addition to my PCP! Dermatology for annual skin checks and any future cosmetic stuff, endocrinologist for my thyroid nodules, and an orthopedist for my osteoporosis. That's a lot for someone who feels pretty fit. I will probably be going on Reclast, the IV medication for osteoporosis which is why my PCP wants me to be followed up by an orthopedist. Speaking of my PCP, she said that though I walk a lot (3.5 miles a day), that isn't enough of a weight bearing exercise. I need to add some more weight to the exercises. She said some of the positioning in yoga counts. I may talk to our fitness director to see what I could add here. I don't want to have to go outside the community to take a class, but I am not good at keeping up with exercising on my own (though I did look up some exercises on Google).
Today I have water aerobics and 2 bocce games (one is a makeup game of a rained out one from last week). This is the next to last week of games before the finals (which I am sure we won't be in again). We have tried harder this year with weekly practices but just aren't that good.
The weather has changed dramatically over the past the last 2 days after a prior 2 days of incredible rain and lightening. We had about 9 inches of rain in those 2 days with several lightning strikes in the area, one of them a block from us. Both Justice and I screamed when that one hit! The golf courses have been closed since Sunday afternoon so the golf associations including DH's today haven't been able to play. I play tomorrow and with the weather change the course should be dry enough. The humidity is way down so it was cooler last night and the AC can be off during the day with the windows open. I love when we can let the outdoor air inside!
Have a weathering Wednesday!

The "tightest rears" - now that's a description! Better a Porta potty with a flapping door than some guy peeing out in the open!

LOL! We did exactly that when we lived in a neighborhood with trick or treating (after the kids were grown). Put the dogs in crates, left a bucket of candy on the porch, turned the main house lights off, and went out to dinner.

What do you do with the dogs on Halloween? Mine used to go crazy barking.

I was in a fit of giggles today. I drove out my driveway to go get my car washed and I look over at the portapotty and the door is wide open right at the edge of the street with a perfect view of the throne and a stream of toilet paper flapping out the door in the wind. A trashier sight has never been seen in my neighborhood! I jumped out of the car and went scrounging for rocks in the culvert to put against the door to hold it shut. Thank goodness the two board members and one homeowner with the tightest rears didn't drive past and see it...

Made the trek to see Mom and am back home again! Makes for a long day but I just don't know when the last time I will see her will be. She looked today! We went out for Mexican (one of her favs too) and just visited a bit. Took the dogs to daycare and had them groomed while there. $200 later, they look and smell good!
Liz, so happy to have made your dream! I wonder what I was teaching? I did a lot of that in my career! Also cool that you had a nice dream about Elise!
Lots of work being done at your house CC! I hope the porta potty stays upright too! Yuck!
Enjoy your Halloween party Diane! We try to avoid the hullabaloo and usually go out to eat during Trick or Treat time. Keeping the dogs at bay with the constant knocking at the door would drive all of us mad!
Greetings all
Quick check in before I go out and about. It is another sunny one so I look forward to the drive past the bay. I have to go to the big city for mammogram which will hopefully be "almost entirely fat". Fat and good are words rarely found in the same sentence.
Yeah that hurricane looks horrific. Huge storm surge and no where to go.
Glad the face stuff is going well Liz. We would love to see before and after of the brown spots if you are so inclined. Strange what dreams will do. They are sort of a gift. (dreams, not spots).
CC your views are spectacular. Appreciate them every day (minus porta potty). Sorry your Dad had another spell. Not easy on anyone.
DD sending positive energy to you.
So we continue to ramp up for Halloween. I need to hit CVS for more candy and party stuff. We also have to cut back our beautiful princess bush so guests can see kids out the window. Cutting it back seems to make it thicker and have more blooms but hurts in the short run.
Studio delivery and other misc chores. Hamburgers tonight.
Stayed up late for the world series. Quite a game. I have never been much of a baseball fan but it was exciting. Liking professional sports may be a sign of aging brain....

I will let you know how it goes! I have 2 more treatments after this but if the ones that turned really dark in the first treatment all flake off it will already be a huge improvement.
