Insurance Changed

Well after I lost my job.  I lost my medical coverage and now I have Medicaid.  My doctor was working with me before I lost my insurance and had to change to Medicaid.  Now we are beginning the journey of getting this approved. So I'm picking up a referral from him to go see my Bariatric Surgeon on the 16th.  I'm praying I can get this approved.    Has anyone gone thru this process with Medicaid.  I know it's covered, just want to know what it was like getting it approved.
