Patience is a virtue

I have weight loss goals and expectations.. but I am trying to develop a healthy mental approach to attaining those goals by not being impatient.

Impatience is one reason I am a compulsive over eater.  I used to feel that if I didn't eat that food RIGHT AWAY..  it would be gone for good. I would have missed an opportunity to stuff that VALUABLE food into my mouth.

  In keeping with the path to patience, I only weigh myself once a week at the same time of day. And although I have lost ten pounds in one week. I have lost as little as only half a pound during another week.

I just stay the course. I follow my food plan... write it down to keep honest.. and keep exercising.

Keep the faith.
