Okay, so here is my story..I am 23 years old, and I just had gastric bypass surgery January 27, 2009. I am just under 5 feet tall, and i weighed 228 lbs. I have severe aortic stenosis (heart murmor) I was born with it, along with some major scoliosis and kyphosis, call me quazi moto..ha. no im kidding, but its been a long way to try and be healthy. I have been sick most of my life, and I have been overweight most of my life. I was never able to play sports or exercise as i was diagnosed with sudden death syndrome, which thank god, never happened. but it is all relative to the pressure in my heart. I have lived now to be 23 when my expectancy was no more than 11 years old, I thank god everyday for the life I am living and hope it only gets better from here. :) I would love to meet poeple who are on the same journey with WLS that i am. i believe in prayer, and if anyone ever needs prayer, feel free to shoot me a message, I love calling on the Lord for his love to guide and heal others whether it be their heart mind body.... I am just thankful to be alive-
Dont think I am a bucket of joy, I have had my share of dark in my life, a HUGE share of dark in my life. 2008, damn near killed me. but I got through it. whole hearted. I left my broken heart behind the day I decided to change my life. :)
