Today I weighed in and I have lost 199lbs in 19 months. Wow is has made such a huge difference in my life all for the better. I was able to walk in the Susan G Komen 3 day for the cure. 60 miles..in 3 days. I actually walked the whole 60 miles. Before the wls I could hardly walk from the parking lot to my desk at work and believe me I am not talking a long walk at all. It has been a incredible journey and once again I would like to thank all who have posted on this site as it has been such a helpful tool. Thank you all again. I have a way to go yet but I am on the right track. I started this journey at 430lbs and today I weighed in at 231lbs, I have been taken off all but one medication and my doctor feels that once i lose another 30lbs he will take me off that also. To all that are looking into WLS do your research this is not a quick fix it is a way of life.
