Moma Angel, Thank you so much for your kind words of inspiration. You are truely an Angel. You are right God shuts doors for reasons. I have struggled with this dissicion for several years and I feel God has led me back to the surgery. It blew my mind when I found out I was going to have to pay $2500. We dont have that money either. I was so down when I left the office. I came back and told my parents everything the dr. said. The very next morning my parents called and said they wanted to pay for me to have the surgery because they dont want to loose me. God is good, and he is always on time. Momma Angel - Thank you so very much for your kind words and prayers. Every profile that I review, you have taken the time to post a nice message upon. Many nice thoughts should also come your way. Both of my parents are now deceased, my father in 1988 and my mother just last October. I only wish that they were here to advise me withthis decision and to hopefully see the positive results. In any event, my surgery date for Laparoscopic RNY is Wednesday, June 25th. Thank you again, may God pave the way for you to have your surgery as well.

Hello Momma Angel. I appreciate your kind words of support. I have been coming to Obesity Help.com for about nine months and I read your profile in the beginning. I read it again today. It breaks my heart to know you are having such a struggle with Medicaid and so forth. You may want to try asking your SSI eligibility worker about qualifying for a medicaid spend-down to get your insurance re-instated. I think you should write a letter or email your senator, too. Best Wishes!!!!
