I just got a note from OH saying it's my 2mo bandaversay. I was gone this weekend and overlooked it. So, as they suggested I'm giving and up date. I'm down 20 pounds since surgery! It was slow starting but, a couple weeks after the first (1cc for a 4cc total) fill I started feeling pain if I eat to much so, I have a little restriction. I don't fill full so I'm basically just dieting.

Hi All!
At my 2 week check up, I asked and found out that I had 3cc put in my band at the time of placement. I was down 12 pounds.
At 6 week, April 10th, I got my first fill. They pulled the whole 3cc and added the 1cc fill for a total of 4 cc in a 10cc AP band. At this visit I was down 16 pounds.

I had my surgery on 2/25/09! Everything went good and I was home 24 hours later. I did everything I learned from here and was leaving the hospital while the lady next to me, who had the same surgery before me, hadn't even walked yet.
I have been moving and trying to sip sip sip. What I found was I can take really big drinks. I had gained 4 pounds during the pre-op liquid diet and 11 IV pounds. After 4 days I had the IV pounds off and 2 more days I had the pre-op pounds off.
Now I'm on my way to losing real weight. 11 days out I'm just down 6 pounds. It was fun to see the middle number on the scale go below what I had seen in a Looooong time,

Today I have finished 14 days of the full liquid diet and am doing day 15 on clear liquids and the seven Wild Berry drink I have to have today.
Tomorrow I will be banded and start my new journey.
