My ex-husband was visiting my son – I had to stop over to see my son this one day and when I went in I, of course, talked to my ex-husband as well. He seemed a little “distant,” but I didn’t really pay that much attention to it. A couple of days later my son told me that after I had left, my ex-husband had asked him “Who was that?” . . . to which my son replied, “That was mom.” -Sandie

Kind of funny actually... I had surgery on 3/30/11 and following surgery I started walking daily. I met a friend in NYC one Sunday for a walk and wore a dress. Wouldn’t you know it? I lost my granny panties as I walked down Canal St. It seems my size 11 panties needed to be traded in for a size 8. -Tammy

My daughter was in a Pageantry Troupe (Tall Flags), and some of the other guard moms and I were walking with the team when my ex and his mom walked up. They asked what school we were from and when we told them, my ex mother-in-law looked directly at me and said, “That is my granddaughter’s school!” I stood there looking at her and my ex-husband in amazement (jaw open), and they just looked at me and the others like they didn’t know ANY OF US (we had been married nearly 12 years!). Later I just laughed it all off, realizing he had not seen me in 130 pounds. Sure enough, when I told my daughter the story, it was all confirmed... they hadn’t notice who I was! I don’t know if that is good or bad! -Denise

I actually got a funny quote from my sis today. I am only about 2.5 weeks out and my sis was complimenting me on my weight loss. Her exact quote was: “Well you can still sit a cup on your booty, but you definitely have a lot less jiggle.” All I could do is say, “Thanks, sis, that’s why I love you!” -Le’Cinda
