I had a near perfect day of eating yesterday. I only ate what I planned and NO junk. I was hoping the scale reflected it but nope, still the same. Scale hasn't moved at all in 3 days but at least it's not going UP. I would so love to drop ONE MORE pound by tomorrow so I could meet ALL of the goals I've set for this challenge...we'll see...

OK, I guess it's time to post MY goals. Not really much different from last time.
1. Reach G O A L: 154 lbs
2. Log all my food everyday at Sparkpeople.com
3. Exercise 3 times a week either at the gym or using my Wii Fit
4. Take all my vitamins everyday.
5. Set up appt to have my labs checked this month.

Sorry Jeri but I have to use a little tough love here. You've been talking for months about your financial difficulties and consulting either the consumer credit counseling services or using the Dave Ramsay approach to become debt-free. I'm thinking consulting plastic surgeon's should not be your first priority. Why don't you try to get some debt paid off and then you will be in a better place to pursue cosmetic surgery. No offense meant, just sometimes it helps to look at the big picture.

Jenn I can FEEL the excitement in your post when you write about your animals. I'm so excited cuz now the board will have a "goat girl" and a "goat and rabbit Mommy". I loved hearing Tracey's goat stories last year so now I can look forward to yours too.
I put the SF raspberry syrup in lemonade and it is so good. Also works in tea.

Repost: just wanted to bring it to the top for anyone that needs to post their goals before we start tomorrow.
OK, everyone, the NEW challenge will start tomorrow and run through Feb 28. The reason I picked the name of "Focus" is because it's not about weight for everyone. For some it might be more about exercise or vitamins or logging their food. Anyway, the rules are:
1. List some goals you would like to attain over the month of February. You may list them anytime between now and Wednesday.
2. Make the goals "measurable", ie, "drink 64 oz of water daily" or "lose 7 lbs in the month", or "exercise 3x week".
3. Try to post daily about how you're doing. If posting only once a week works for you then it's OK but most of us find that posting everyday makes us accountable. If you actually have to put it in black and white that you cheated, you tend not to eat that food.
4. If weight loss is one of your goals, post your menu IF you want to. It's not required but it helps you to stick to a plan if you actually HAVE a plan.
5. Keep a copy of your goals written down where you can see them. Tape them to your refridge, put them on your door or computer desk where you can see them daily.
6. You may post your weight IF you want to but it's not required.
What did I leave out? Any questions? The important thing is that it is completely INDIVIDUAL to what each person needs. We are just doing this together so we can support each other along the way. We had some tremendous success with the "30 day challenge." We had several people that lost over 10 lbs of regain weight, some that really upped their exercise and some that never missed a day taking their vitamins. All of those are HUGE accomplishments that might not of been realized without the support of each other. So what do YOU want to acomplish...time to post your goals.

Good morning everyone. I'm at work again today and so far, so good. Not much going on. I'll be watching the first half of the super bowl right here and should be getting off work about halftime. I have good numbers for the football pot so it should make watching the game more fun.
After work last night we went and bought new phones. Clay and I both got the Vu and Hailey got the Pantech Slate. Mine's all "touch" and it has the qwerty keyboard to make texting easier. I'm excited. So today I need to play with it and see what all it does. Weird thing is, it didn't come with an instruction manual, just a CD. I also added my Mom to our family plan cuz I'd feel better if she had a cell phone at her age (87). Speaking of Mom, they got back from Arkansas at 10PM last night. They had to empty out her fridge and freezer before they left since she had no electricity. So she is safe and sound in Texas for the next couple of weeks.
Got to go see a few patients, I'll try not to send out too many texts today while I'm practicing.

Karla, I use a 1/4 measuring cup and scoop my trail mix into snack size baggies. That way I know exactly how much I'm eating. I have several bgged up at one time so I can grab and go if needed. I also put 11 pretzel crisps in a baggie cuz that's one serving too. If I don't do that, I know I'll eat the whole bag.

Hey Lady, we're posting at the same time again, lol. I had a great day yesterday. I ate according to plan, made good choices and drank my water. Didn't get any exercise since I worked for 12 hrs but surely that counts for something.
Yesterday I had a protein drink for breakfast, steak and coleslaw for lunch, dinner was 1/2 ham/cheese sandwich and a deviled egg. Snacks were protein bar and pretzels. Got in 114 gm of protein.
Today's plan:
Breakfast: Protein drink
Lunch: Steak and coleslaw
Dinner: ???
Packed healthy snacks for work so I have to make good choices.
