I weight 589 lbs What some tips you would give me started looking into to have weight loss surgery
I have made up my mind to invest in a juicer and I know nothing about them. If you a have a juicer, do you mind letting me know if you like it and the brand name. Trying to get an idea of the best juicer to buy that is not over the top expensive.
I totally agree with white dove.
My husband had cancer and was on chemo. Even the smell of food cooking made him sick. I bought a juicer (don't remember the name brand) and made fresh juice for every meal. He could tolerate the juice, drank it, felt stronger, and actually gained over 20 pounds during the six months on chemo. If your goal is to gain weight, any juicer will work for you.
Juice is mainly sugar. Your body can absorb it and turn it to fat much more quickly than just eating fruit. Because the solid fruit and fiber are gone the sugar goes to fat storage. If your goal is to lose weight, don't juice.

I know you are not a new post-op. But I used to teach a class where I used a empty 2-liter soda bottle to represent what the old stomach could hold and then the bottlecap from that soda bottle to represent what the new pouch can hold. At your stage you can probably hold less than 1/2 cup of solid food.

Ok, thank you. I feel fine today and did so after vomiting. Can't believe I over ate. Going to take it nice and easy.
You may have eaten too much at once, or you might have something like a stomach flu. After vomiting, it is a good idea to stick to liquids for a day or so to keep the pouch from getting inflamed. Also sip the liquids slowly so you don't get sick again.

I just had my labs done a month ago and was told to increase my vitamin d from 2000 iu to 4000 iu. so I guess it depends on what your labs are showing. The dr told me he would adjust my intake if my labs increase but could also increase my intake if they are still decreasing.
It is very normal to worry about this but don't let it sabotage your success. I am only 1-3 men in my support group and we hear about this a lot from women at the meetings. They said they can find garmets that will help with the excess skin but you may still need some removal and from what I have seen if you have enough excess skin to cause pain you can get it covered for removal.
