Looking for ideas that are not off the normal Thanksgiving menu. I am making all that but am thinking of trying to make a few new dishes for my family to try. Do you have any favorite dishes/recipes you make each year that are different than all the regular dishes? I would love some new ideas.

Dumping happens with RNY because the valve that keeps food from dumping directly into the intestines is no longer there. The valve is intact with DS. Dumping involves fast heartbeat, sweating, dizziness, and weakness. It is not diarrhea, but diarrhea can happen with dumping.

A study was done on TBL people. It found the diet crashed their metabolism permanently (which is separate from the drop in caloric needs due to the actual weight loss). Plus, on the show, they spent significant amounts of time every day exercising which they could not maintain after returning home. It was a recipe for failure. The people on that show did not have WLS unless it was part of their history.

Why do many people wear caps now ?
