It's finally fall in Philadelphia! We went from 80+ degrees last week as highs to 40 degree lows this weekend. Glad to be able to pull some warmer things out of the closet. So, headed to a college reunion this coming weekend and found a pair of Calvin Klein jeans in the back of my closet (all denim no stretch) circa 1980. They were a size 10 back then and fit me now - in fact they are a little big. I have been able to show size inflation because I bought a pair of size 6 Levis last week but I'm so excited to meet up with some friends after 35 years and put on a pair of pants I wore then!

Monday - fencing 2 hours

Tuesday - Triple - Personal trainer 1 hour, Cross fit 1 hour, fencing lesson 30 minutes

Wednesday - fencing 2 hours

Thursday - Cross fit 1 hour

Friday - Pilates 1 hour

Saturday and Sunday - Reunion time!

HOpe everyone had a great week and all our Canadian friends had a great Thanksgiving.

Keep on losing!

Missed some miles last week due to over crowded trails and getting caught up in Westworld. But not too many and I did get the 20 in on Saturday and that was the important one.

Monday-may try to run this evening, but mostly just a rest day

Tuesday-10 mile run

Wednesday-6 mile run

Thursday-8 mile run

Friday-4 mile run and yoga (but probably not because Daredevil 3 comes out so I'll be watching that)

Saturday-20 mile trail run

Sunday-10 mile trail run

We finally got a little fall weather but of course today, its back up to 70..lol..ughh. I ran a solo, rainy, cool Sunday run of 18 miles. My legs, especially my calves, were toast. Someone suggested I need to stretch more. Im also thinking about using Salts Tabs.

Monday-After the Sunday run, I needed today as a rest day

Tuesday-Run 8 miles

Wednesday-Swim 1800 yards (saved some energy for the training) and start with a swim coach

Thursday-Run 10 miles (felt great so decided to run longer today)

Friday-Didn't get a mile. I used the kick board for 100 yards and then again for slow breathing. The kick board will kick your butt. Then I did 18 laps after (900 yards)

Saturday-Working a p/t job (Seasonal helping out my wife's friends). Will not get any exercise in except sweating to death..lol

Sunday-We taper back a little this week..running a 1/2. Next week starts the 20 miler.

If you are sweating a lot and cramping during the run than salt tables maybe your answer or something like gatorade along that line. Not sure what you are drinking or fueling is like.

We had a runners meeting Monday and I asked some of the more experienced runners (Boston Runners) and we came to the conclusion that I did not get enough water. I had only consumed about 9oz for the whole run because it was cold and I didnt "feel" like I was sweating too much. So today I did 10, it was in the upper 40s but I still stopped at 5 and drank like 10oz and felt great the rest of the run. No nutrition on a short run but Im experimenting with what will work on the next couple of long runs. I think Im going to try using "Gu's" again and see how they work.

Gatorade doesnt work for me. Im not sure what it is but I never feel good after drinking it. I just use water.

Got sick over the weekend and everything has gone to hell... at work today but not feeling well still. I have strep and an ear infections. I'm keeping up my walking and that might be the only thing I get done this week.

Monday- Walked my 5 miles

Tuesday- Walked 6 miles and weight training

Wednesday- Walked 6 miles

Thursday- Walked 6 miles and weight training

Friday- Walked 6 miles (no bike riding due to weather)

Saturday- Walked 6 miles, weight training at gym

Sunday- Walked 7 miles (no bike riding due to weather)

Not a bad week, just missed the bike riding, weather should be better next week.

Edited for exercise completed.

I was the same a week ago. Had the "crud" and had to take a few days off. No biggie, get healthy and bounce back. You will be back to form before you know it.
