Compression gear from Under Armor is seriously my BFF. However, it's hard to find high waisted stuff and I need it. Sometimes I'll wear shape wear for that, but it doesn't always breathe well for exercising. So.. yeah.
I've basically given up on jumping jacks until I've had plastics :P

Does anyone use anything during exercise to stabilize loose skin? My muffin toppish part of my abdomen is what's bugging me. During things like jumping jacks, frog jumps or planks it moves like a flag in the wind. Last night I held it in place and realized it made such a difference-- no continued movement after I stopped moving. And my core felt stronger too.
Would a standard spanx type top work? Or is there something more specific for exercise? Ideally I'm only looking to stabilize the area under my boobs to my navel. Navel to hip is not an issue- pants/undies keeps that from jiggling :-)
Ideas??

I've been a member at my Y for about a year now. (I'm five months post-op). There are people of every shape and size in our pools - one of which is a zero depth entry for those who cannot go up and down the steps. I've seen everything from people who look like walking x-rays to those who are very heavy. You know what they have in common - they all joined the Y to get healthier - just like you. When I go to the gym, I'm not looking at other people other than to see if they are working on a piece of equipment I want to use. And they aren't looking at me. Find a bathing suit you are comfortable in -- it maybe one piece, it may be two - like a dress with shorts -- spend the money to find something you feel comfortable in and then dip your toes in the water (pun intended.) You got this!
I wear Under Armour everyday. My favorite is the "Under Armour Men's Tactical HeatGear Compression" At 215 I am wearing a Large. I have these in long sleeve, short, and v-neck.
Another good one is actually at Wally World. Its the Starter brand but in those I actually buy small. They are super inexpensive and work great as well.
Monday-I actually did a yoga routine. 26 whole minutes!

Wednesday-4 mile run

Friday-More yoga? Hopefully, but probably maybe.
Saturday-Gonna run the elusive Walmart2Walmart2Walmart2Walmart2Walmart. Should be about 16-17 miles.
