That's what I heard as well. Your body is going through a rapid change and will take time to adjust. I'm 4 months out and my arthritic knees swelled up a few weeks after surgery, and I was doing less walking than I was pre-op. Now it seems all is fine.
Good for you on the walking!!

Not sure how this week is going to go. I did my 50 k race and finished it feeling so strong. In fact I said I feel so good I could go and do another 12.5. I was the last one to finish but 7 people did not finish. I found it interesting that there were only 36 girls doing the race and 6 people in my age group. 8 1/2 hours was my time.
Monday walk
Tue rest
wed swim
and the rest of the week just not sure.
maybe just get some more swimming in

This week is a little uncertain due to my partner needing to have heart surgery tomorrow. It's unclear if I'll be home on Tuesday morning to run or not. But this is the ideal plan.
Monday - yoga
Tuesday - running
Wednesday - pilates class
Thursday - running
Friday - rest due to travel
Saturday - yoga or running
Sunday - yoga or running
I'm going to spend the weekend with my mom, so it's unclear at the moment which day will be my running day!

It's worth noting that everyone else at the gym probably feels uncomfortable in some way too :)

GwenM, that's another new one to me. I'll have to look up New Rules to lifting, too.
