thank you so much. I wish I could tell you it gets easier the longer it is but I do not find that is true. I just find some years or a little easier than others and this year it seem real hard. sorry about your loss of your Dad

I'm in Québec City! That's fantastic, and singing is definitely on par with yoga! I'm a trained classical singer myself (opera was my first career before the constant travel made me switch into something more stable!) and it's a lot of work! I hope your own Lenten journey is the same! :)

My hubby's training for a half marathon which will be end of March and weather here has been crappy. He hates doing long runs on the treadmill, but its the only way he's been able to get his long weekend runs in the last two weeks. I hear you. Best of luck.

I've been having a really hard time getting my exercise mojo back and it's starting to **** me off. Especially since I enjoy it so much when I do exercise!! It's just so hard to motivate myself to run when the weather is so crappy. But.. 26 days until the race, so I've got to get out there anyway.

So sorry about the anniversary of your Dad's death. My Dad meant the world to me as well - we lost him on January 28 10 years ago - still hurts. May you find peace in the memories.

SA79 - I sing at an Episcopal church in Philadelphia which is in the Anglo-Catholic tradition - we sing High Mass every Sunday and Feast day. Evensong once a month. I count my singing rehearsal time as "yoga" because my Apple Watch does not have a way to count calories expended standing for 2.5 hours, regulating breath and trying not to lock my knees! Where are you? (May your Lenten journey be one of discovery and renewal.)

This is slightly unrelated, but yay for church singing! I'm the choirmaster at an Anglican cathedral, so yeah - busy week for me, too! Your work out routine sounds great. Fencing - fun!
