No exciting plans for the weekend but enjoying the last few days before I take my son back to school Sunday. Hoping to enjoy the good weather and get some miles in at the park with Lily because I have a 5k next Saturday. I've been getting the miles in on the treadmill so it should be no problem. This is a 5k that was the very first one I did in 2013 before I was at goal so I am hoping to do better than I did then. Lily and I did get to walk yesterday but may not today because it is raining here. We will try to sneak one in somewhere though. I will also do 30 minutes on the treadmill and 30 on the bike as well. On track with vitamins and fluids and weight at 118.8. Here's my food: B 1/2 c steel cut oats with nuts and half a banana with peanut butter L 31/2 oz chicken and hummus with cauliflower D 3 strips bacon and steamed cauliflower and broccoli (BLT for the family) S light and fit yogurt with plain granola. Hi Everyone, and good morning!
I got a great workout in this morning, which always starts my day off right. The scale was also inexplicably down 3 lbs. Right now I just fluctuate from 153-160 and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason. But I am working my ass off this next week - lots of core work, no alcohol, 100 g of protein a day. I am going to be under anesthesia having a lower body lift and breast lift at this time next Friday. EEEK! I am excited yet terrified.
I am posting the professional finish line photo from my 5k in Nevada last weekend. Notice the joy on my face. The joy was not from a runner's high, but rather because it was OVER! Ha ha.
I am having all leftovers today.
B: 3 coffees with half and half, Quest brownie bar
L: Leftover ground turkey with taco seasoning, light sour cream, guacamole, mexican cheese
S: Peanut butter, yogurt with slivered almonds
D: 1/2 crabcake, a few potato wedges, a little crab dip
E: 50 minutes strength training, 40 minutes Arc Trainer
