Well the last couple of days have been up & down for me. I got a call yesterday morning from my surgeon saying that she wanted a echo done & a cardiologist to release me for the surgery, then when i call my primary DR they say they cant get it done on short notice, well let me tell you how pissed off i was. i went to the doc and he said he would see what he could do.
 Then today i get a call and i have my echo on friday and a meeting with the cardio doc on thursday, doesnt make sense but i will explain everything to him tomorrow....what a pain in the ass.

I also have been on my pre-op diet for a week now, last wed i weighed in @ 479. Today i went and was amazed i am now at 465....i havent been this low in 5 years...woohoo.
 

I went today to see Dr. Wolff and was very nervous. I was so excited when she told me i was getting my surgery date today. Then when they told me my date was November 10th 2010 i was shocked. thats like 3 weeks WOOHOO 

Well i got released from my Nutritionist & had my Ultrasound completed, Everything looks good from my ultrasound. I meet with my surgeon October 18th & from what people say everything goes fast from this point. I was very excited when i found out that i had my appointment...Just got to keep on pushing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Well i went to weigh today at my nutritionist office, and the scale read 495 - 10 pounds off and going....I am very happy for myself., i havent stopped eating much i just cut down a little-no more soda & taking my water pill everyday. now i have to try getting in some more exercise in...30 more lbs to go baby...i have my nutritional evaluation on the 21st of June and i am hoping to be down to 485. 

Well today was my Starting weigh in for my surgery. I was nervous but everything went great. I weighed in @ 512 & i have to lose 47 lbs to get to 465...Very managable number. I met with Jana for my Social Work Evaluation and she is awesome & it helps that she has been through the whole deal already and looks good.
 So my next appointment is with Marissa for my nutritional evaluation on June 21st, Cant wait!!!!!

   Tomorrow i go to Portland Maine for my 1st informational seminar. Hopefully this will begin my start to a new life. I have been overweight since i can remember. When i came out of high school i weighed 340lbs. When i got laid off from my job in 2002 i weighed 420pounds. The highest i have ever been is 544 in august of 2006 when i was hospitalized because of my sleep apnea. I now have that under control. I am doing this so that i can get healthier for my family & myself. Let the games begin....
