I just want to share after my race in sept I will be doing a race at the end of Oct. First time doing this kind of race. I will be doing a 5 and a 10k race on the saturday and than back out on sunday for a half. I was thinking of doing a full marathon but my coach said no not enough recovery time from the triathlon race and after these races she wants me to take a break and give the legs a rest.

Welcome! Finding something you like to do is your best plan. For me, this meant joining a gym with a wide variety of fitness class offerings. Then I tried everything that seemed remotely appealing to me and forced myself to try it for 4 classes before giving up. This is important because you normally feel like an uncoordinated idiot for the first 2-3 classes. So you need to make sure you stick with it longer than that period of stupidity. :P
I also started walking a lot and that eventually turned into running. I ran my first half marathon in March 2017! :D

Moving your daughter can count for a workout. Count it has many workouts. Safe driving

Welcome to OH
If you have not done so post this on the VSG forum to reach out to those that have had or are going to have the surgery type you are interested in. We have seen others post about weight loss surgery and staying or becoming a vegan. It can be done as the other poster said it takes some planning. Check out Dr. Garth Davis as he is a weight loss surgeon and advocates vegan eating.

I'm going to have a wonky week - we move my oldest daughter to the University of Pittsburgh (5 hour drive each way) with the drive out Friday, move in on Saturday and drive home on Sunday. So 10 hours of car time. Plus, who knows what's going to come up to be dealt with but right now the plan is
M - Fencing 2 hours
T - yoga (TRX class on break til Labor Day)
W - Fencing 2 hours
Thursday - who knows
Friday - Car
Saturday - move daughter into dorm
Sunday - car
Hope everyone has a great week.

Keep on losing!
