This week is way up in the air. Work is crazy for me and long hours and the sidewalks are so icy that I can not run outside right now.
My goal this week is to do a swim, strength training and a run. I have to find time to fit it in

I use Under Armour for everything.
But it sounds like the issue might be your clothing is a bit too compressive? Try a larger size perhaps?

Old Navy has a decent line of compression clothes at good costs a while back. I haven't checked in a while, but I'd recommend them if they still have them
honestly it is all good. cardio, strength, yoga, sport -- anything.
Over the past few years I have morphed with my exercise a few times. For a while I was all about running. For a while I was all about yoga. For a while I was all about crossfit. I tend to overlap, but as something new catches my interest I do it. If something starts to get boring, I look for something else interesting.
The key is do something you like because then you will do it!
In terms of what you can do post surgery, I was cleared for cardio well before I was cleared for weights. So if you are cleared to lift, I'd say cardio is probably fine, but it doesn't hurt to check with your doctor.
