Topic: RE: The ONLY thing I miss after VSG...
This is gonna sound incredibly dumb, but the only thing I miss is my beloved diet coke. I was a MAJOR diet coke addict pre-surgery. I know I'm better off without it, but I do miss it. It was my only vice. I have tried a sip or two of my husband's & it just doesn't taste the same at all. I miss the feeling it gave me, the taste of it!! I'm tired of drinking unsweetened tea & water!!! Wahhhh!!!!!

They are called Vitacraves! Who knew! I was told I'd never find a complete gummie vitamin!
Topic: RE: Is it just me or do you have more restriction at dinner time?
Seems like when I sit down to eat dinner I have more restriction than I do earlier in the day. Coincidence or is there a reasonable explanation for this? Thanks!

Topic: RE: Cereal?
I know cereal isn't a protein & has carbs, but does anyone eat it?? Can we once in a while? And do you drain the milk then eat the cereal?? (I remember my NUT mentioning this once). Any cereals out there with a decent amount of protein? Ka****hanks!
Topic: RE: My legs hurt/ache..Could it be VSG related??
I contacted my Dr's office today with this concern. They're ordering blood work for me. Nurse said it can be Potassium or Calcium deficiency. Will keep you posted. Thanks to all!

Topic: RE: My legs hurt/ache..Could it be VSG related??
A vitamin defiency? From losing weight? Not enough protein? Anyone else have this issue?
Topic: RE: They changed the Premier protein shake formula & I don't like it
It's thicker & doesn't taste as good as it use to. Why did they have to change it?? It was the only protein that tasted decent to me. Now open to suggestions for other good flavored whey isolate protein shakes. Thanks!
Topic: RE: Drinking with meals
I know that drinking w/meals is not advised because it helps push food through your stomach faster, making you hungry sooner. But, does it also stretch out your stomach??
Topic: RE: What's the 411 on papaya enzyme?
What does it help with? Where do you find it? How & when do you take it? Thanks!
Topic: RE: Do we have to focus on protein forever or just during the losing phase?
I know we need protein to burn fat, not muscle. But do we need it for the rest of our natural born lives?? I was thinking after the 1st year in which we supposedly lose the majority of our weight, we can relax a little w/our protein intake or no??
Topic: RE: milk.. making my tummy churn!
I have same exact proble. NEVER had an issue prior to surgery, but when I drink/eat milk/dairy now, it sends me straight to the toilet. I hear it's common to be lactose intolerant after VSG. But also heard it may just be temporary.
Topic: RE: OT- Folder or Baller ????
